First posting

It's 12:30am here in sunny Southern California.  I spend my days lately scouring the internet looking for jobs, any job.  I have been unemployed since the beginning of the year.  And to make matters worse, I have undergone several surgical procedures,  NON of them cosmetic. ( I'm sure that is what you were thinking since I live in So. Cal).  As a result of these surgeries, I now go to physical therapy 3 times per week.

Until I get better and can go to a job where I can drive there and be there 40+ hours per week, I thought working from home would be a great way to avoid foreclosure and bankruptcy by getting at least some money to pay for my mortgage and medical bills.  So as I sit here and look for REAL Work at Home jobs, I keep running into those bullshit scams that are wasting my time, because they sound legit by the title and I do click on them.

Can I tell you how pissed off I am that these assholes out there are wasting my precious time? Many times, when I click on these scam ads, I can tell they are crap.  However, there are some that are not that obvious, and I actually do my due diligence and research them just to find out they another scam.  This takes time away from my job seeking efforts !

What makes me qualified to list these scams is that I do have a technology background.  In fact, before my surgeries this year, I was a well paid IT executive.  Based on comments made by people on some of the other blogs and forums out there, I realize that way too many people are ripped off.  I figure I can help us all.  I can help those of you out there who just might consider giving those scam artists money, by hopefully stopping you before you let go of your precious cash, and I can help myself by shutting down these jerks so that as I am looking for a legitimate job, their ads and websites and blogs won't get in my way.

So wish me luck!
